After years of grinding in corporate advertising, I knew I needed a change. Burnout left me staring at flight deals instead of spreadsheets, and one day I realized: Life’s too short for trips that feel like work to plan.

I’ve been globetrotting solo since I was 7, taking summer flights to visit family in New York (thanks JetBlue crew, for keeping kid-me entertained). Fast-forward to planning my best friend’s last-minute bachelorette weekend, curating anime convention itineraries for my cosplay crew, and spoiling myself with a solo Thailand getaway so flawless it changed how I saw travel — and See Violet Go was born.
